DigiCert replaces incorrect Timestamp Authority certificate

DigiCert replaces incorrect Timestamp Authority certificate

In September, DigiCert issued an incorrect certificate. This has been replaced in the meantime.

From September 14, 2022 at 7:11 UTC to September 22, 2022 at 7:18 UTC, DigiCert's timestamp.digicert.com and adobe.timestamp.digicert.com services incorrectly issued a Timestamp Authority (TSA) certificate with a validity period of only one year. On September 22, 2022, DigiCert replaced this TSA certificate with a new TSA certificate with a validity period of 135 months (11 years).

To take advantage of the longer validity period, you must first verify which of your files or codes were signed during the window. You must then re-sign the affected files or code and apply the new timestamp.
